1. Maturin The Turtle – Natural enemy of `It`
The character The Turtle is not mentioned in IT part 1, and perhaps even part 2. This is an important character in Stephen King’s book, because The Turtle showed the children of the `Losers Club`
In the original novel, Maturin the Turtle is also the `king` in the hearts of fans.
2. Beverly is not a `dumpkin` who needs to be rescued
Beverly in the IT movie is quite similar to Beverly in the original novel.
Beverly’s only change on screen is that she looks more like a `girl`.
3. The children used drugs to hallucinate

Patrick and Henry are both extremely cruel bullies in both the book and movie IT.
In the book, Patrick killed his 5-year-old brother with a pillow, squeezing him until he suffocated.
Stephen King’s original novel is full of sensitive details, and bullies are no exception.
