(Dan Tri) – Former US President Donald Trump repeatedly stated that he could quickly end the Ukraine conflict if re-elected.

Former US President Donald Trump earlier this week once again affirmed that he could quickly end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine if he was re-elected next November.
`Mr. Trump said: `I will bring Mr. Putin and Mr. Zelensky to the negotiating table and end the conflict.` I have not seen the specific video of that speech, but I understand that he intends to organize a conference.
Mr. Trump repeatedly stated that he could end the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours if re-elected.
In July 2023, he further revealed how this conflict could be resolved: `I will tell Mr. Zelensky to stop, you must accept an agreement. I will tell Mr. Putin that
This raises speculation that, if he returns to the White House, Mr. Trump will reduce or cut aid to Ukraine to pressure Kiev to sit at the negotiating table with Moscow with certain compromises.
However, Mr. Zelensky emphasized: `Even if Trump does not support us, we will always default to not agreeing to give up our territory. Then he will stop supporting us and Russia will take control.`
`In other words, he determined that if Ukraine accepted Russia to control part of its territory, then everything would stop. However, they would not stop. So, what will Mr. Trump do? Because of this
Mr. Trump and Ukrainian officials are still skeptical about Mr. Trump’s ability to end the conflict.
Late last year, Mr. Zelensky said: `I want to invite Mr. Trump to Ukraine. If he comes here, I need 24 minutes, yes, only 24 minutes, no more to prove that his plan cannot be stopped.`

In a speech at the World Economic Forum taking place in Davos (Switzerland) yesterday, Mr. Zelensky called on the Ukrainian army and people to take the initiative, decide the outcome of the conflict with Russia and call for support.
