What is the inspiration for Khang’s upcoming collection at ELLE Fashion Show Spring-Summer 2015?
In this collection, I found inspiration from very traditional Vietnamese beauties such as camisole, bandana, soft but powerful calligraphy… I want to express those beauties by
Lam Gia Khang’s designs often have classic, very elegant shapes.
In addition to outlining the beauty of traditional costumes, Lam Gia Khang’s new designs will have smoother, more comfortable and liberal shapes.
What points make the difference in Lam Gia Khang’s design?
My designs often have elegant shapes, the outside seems very neat and simple, but the inner structure of the shirt is quite complexly designed with a solid layout to enhance the charm of the wearer.
You have participated in many fashion design competitions before.
Every time I participate in a competition, big or small, I learn new lessons.
How did you feel when attending the ELLE Fashion Show for the first time?
It may sound cliché, but I really feel happy and honored to attend the ELLE Fashion Show as a designer.
In particular, with ELLE Fashion Show Spring – Summer 2015, for the first time ELLE Vietnam cooperated with ZALORA – the leading online fashion sales channel in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
