How would you describe your journey at the Hermès fashion house starting from 2015 until now?
I must say that my journey with Hermès happened very naturally.
Movement has always been the DNA, the spirit of Hermès since the first days.
Hermès has always moved with the times, from its beginnings when it only produced leather bridles, and started making handbags at the end of the last century when women’s roles and activities in society changed.

Everyone always talks about Hermès and the long history of leather crafting techniques.
You know, Hermès’ heritage of savoir faire has been passed down through generations, with each participating artisan contributing to perfecting each technique over the years.
Where does the inspiration for a new handbag design usually come from?
Inspiration can come from anywhere and there is no specific formula.

For example, with the Della Cavalleria bag, we spent a lot of time perfecting the clasp details because I wanted the horsebit-shaped clasp to hug the leather surface, creating a slight curve, then the light effect would reflect.
Hermès is also famous for its impressive color collection.
I love colors and enjoy exploring colors.

Our mission is to create new bags and symbols, bringing diversity to the Hermès handbag collection.
What characteristics do Hermès’ new designs have that attract the brand’s younger generation of customers?
Younger generations like Gen Z are an interesting source of inspiration.
